Dulquer Salmaan’s Bollywood Debut Movie Karwaan Review

The film which was released here in Kerala today is a Bollywood movie named Karwan starred by Irfan Khan and our own Dulquar Salman. This is the debut movie of Dulquar Salman in Bollywood and it has been written and directed by Akarsh Khurana. Hussain Dalal had written the dialogues for this movie and Mithila Palkar had played the female lead. The flick has been produced by Ronnie Screwwaala and Preethi Rathi Gupta under the banners named RSVP Movies and Nishka Films.

The plot of this movie revolves around the three lead characters named Shaukat, Avinash and Tanya played by Irfan Khan, Dulquar Salman and Mithila Palkar. These three are not friends and they are very different from each other. Yet they end is a road trip together from Bangalore, because of a strange situation that comes in their life. The Films tells us the things happen in their life during that journey.

Akarsh Khurana had made this movie a feel-good entertainer. The flick is filled with moments which makes us laugh and happy and at the same time, it has touching moments in it as well. The screenplay written by the director has been fantastic. He had made a perfect entertainer from a thin plot and included comedy, romance, music and emotional moments in travel movie with ease. A lot of credit has to be given to Hussain Dalal, the dialogue writer, as well. His dialogues were so natural and hilarious.

Irfan Khan had given one of the best performances in his career as Shaukat and once again he had shown us that why he is been considered as one of the finest actors in India right now. Dulquar Salman had made his Bollywood debut an impressive one. As Avinash, he had given a cool and lovable performance. He was successful in creating a boy next door image among the audience and his dialogue delivery too was great. Mithila Palkar stood head to head with these two and other artists like Kriti Kharbanda, Amala Akkineni, and Preethi Rathi Gupta also did their part to perfection

The DOP by Avinash Arun has been great throughout the movie. His visuals really set the mood in this movie. The music for this movie has been tuned by four people. Prateek Khuhad, Anurag Saikia, SlowCheetah and Imad Shah are the ones who had given some soulful music for this film. Ajay Sharma had edited the flick and provided the movie a smooth pace till the very end.

In Total, Karwan is a beautiful cinematic experience which will touch your heart for sure. It has everything in it to make you love it. You will get to see a feel-good entertainer that actually do justice to that genre.
