Savari Malayalam Movie Review



Savari is the latest release here in Mollywood and it has been written and directed by Ashok Nair. Suraj Venjaramoodu is playing the lead in this movie and it has been got great attention from the audience before release as well. The presence of popular actor Dileep in a cameo role is the reason behind the attention this movie got before its release. This flick has been produced by Opened Eye Creations in association with Royal Vision. It has been made us a family entertainer movie.

The plot of this flick was set in the background of Thrissur City and Thrissur Pooram. The lead character played by Suraaj Venjaramoodu earns a living by helping the Devaswam Board of Thrissur Temple and also doing odd jobs. This film shows the interesting things happening in his life in a realistic and entertaining manner.

The director has been successful in connecting the audience with the atmosphere in this movie right from the very beginning. Its plot is very simple. But it was presented in a realistic manner and it provided great entertainment for the viewers as well. The plot has certain social relevance and it has been presented with the required intensity and depth as well. There are many situations in this plot which we can see around us and the dialogues were natural too. The characterization was another highlight of this movie. Emotional Appeal of this movie is also one of the reasons behind its quality.

Performance from Suraj Venjarammodu has been fantastic in this flick. He is been playing a lot of lead roles off late and his range as an actor grows with every film. His flexibility and body language were impeccable and the dialogue delivery too was convincing. Other artists like Praveena, Chembil Ashokan, Sunil Sugatha, Jayaraj Warrier, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Manikandan Pattambi, VK Baiju, Nandakumar, Raj Kumar, Lena etc too did a fine job in this flick. Dileep’s cameo too had got great applause from the audience.

The DOP of this film was SB Prajith and his visuals were realistic and really created the perfect atmosphere for telling the story. Music given by Justin Kalidas has been great as well. Jithin is the one who edited this flick and his fine cuts provided a smooth pace to the film.

To Summarize, we can say that Savari is a quality entertainer which will satisfy everyone and it will never let down anyone who goes to the cinema hall with the hope of watching a good film. It not only entertains you but also gives you a message.
