Do successful people wake up early?

“Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise”. Ben Franklin.

Are there any benefits of waking up early? Definitely YES. Many studies conducted across the world have correlated the habit of waking up early with success. Here are some of the benefits that can be gained if you are an early bird.

  • You get more time to plan for the day: If you are a late riser, you may have to rush through the morning routines and tasks to finish it on time. Sometimes, you may have to skip some not so important works too. But if you rise early, you will get time to finish your tasks on time without rushing through it.
  • It improves your grades and productivity: If you are a student, the peaceful and quite morning creates the perfect environment to study. Also, it gives you more energy and a positive motivation to do your work.
  •  Early risers are more proactive: Early risers are identified as more proactive and goal-oriented. Also, studies have shown that early risers are more optimistic and satisfied as compared with late risers who are more depressed and pessimistic.
  • You get time to exercise and to stay fit: You get time for regular exercising before getting into the busy schedules of work and family life. It will boost your energy and mood.
  • Waking Up early gives you quiet, peaceful time: If you are an early riser, you will get some time for yourself at home. Also, if you travel to work, you can leave home early to avoid traffic congestions.
