Mega Star Mammootty had come up with his 4th release this year and it was Abrahaminte Santhathikal directed by the debutant named Shaji Padoor. The film was scripted by Haneef Adeni, who had directed the super hit movie The Great Father last year with Mammootty in the lead. Joby George bankrolled Abrahaminte Santhathikal under the banner named Goodwill Entertainment and it has been made as an investigation thriller. The posters, teaser, and trailer of this movie had got fabulous reception from social media and is one among the most anticipated movies of this year as well.
The plot of this movie revolves around two characters. One is played by Mammootty and the other is played by Anson Paul. As the title suggests, these two are the sons of Abraham. Mammootty plays Deric Abraham and Anson Paul plays Philip Abraham. Mammootty plays a Cop who is investigating an important case which has a connection with his personal life as well. We can’t reveal more about the plot as it will be a spoiler.Shaji Padoor had worked here in Mollywood as an associate director for almost 22 years and we can say that he had used all his experience to make this movie a great thriller. The screenplay by Haneef Adeni has been the backbone of this movie as it was so tight and thrilling to the core. Each and every character has great significance in the story and the plot situations were very much convincing as well. Shaji Padoor had made the movie in a way that it will keep you at the edge of the seats. He made sure that the flick had every commercial element to make the audience enjoy the movie. He had not made it as a dark thriller as well.
Mammootty’s performance as Deric Abraham is the highlight of this movie. He looked stunning as Deric Abraham and the way he presented this character made the movie a quality one. His body language and dialogue delivery style were just amazing and the mass appeal he had provided with his screen presence has been fabulous too. Anson Paul had done a great job in the film as Philip Abraham and we can say that this is one of the best performance from his so far. Kaniha, Siddique, Kalabhavan Shajon, Renji Panicker, Maqbool Salman, Yog Japee, Sudev Nair, Sohan Seenulal, Shyama Prasad etc too did their part very well.
Alby’s visuals were superb throughout and the music scored by Gopi Sundar has been great as well. Especially, the background coring has been the soul of this movie. Mahesh Narayanan had edited this flick and gave it the pace and technical quality which was required to make this movie a great one.In Total, Abrahaminte Santhathikal has been a great thriller which will never let you down if you are a fan of thriller movies. It has thrill and emotions in it which attract every kind of audience. Mammootty’s performance also will be something which will worth each penny you spend to watch this flick.
