Ramante Ethanthottam Malayalam Movie Review

Ramante Eden Thottam is one among the Malayalam movies which had graced the screens here in Kerala today. This movie has been scripted and directed by Renjith Shankar and produced by Dream N beyond, the production banner owned by Renjith Shankar and Jayasurya. This is their 4th production venture after Punyalan Agarbathees, Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam and Pretham. Kunchacko Boban and Anu Sithara played the lead characters in this romantic movie. The trailer and songs from this movie had got great reception from the audience and that had made it a much anticipated movie of this month as well.

The plot of this movie revolves around the title character named Ram Menon who owns a resort in 500 acres of land. It is a remote place where the shadows of urbanization not yet reached fully. Then a girl from a metro city, who is married as well, comes there and a special relationship started to kindle between Ram and that girl. Anu Sithara is playing the character of a girl from the city

Renjith Shankar is a director and writer who want to give us different movies and he always tries to give movies with quality as well. His movies are not just entertainer but possess certain class in it. This time also he had come up with a movie which is an entertainer with a certain class in it. The screenplay was the backbone of this movie. It was a beautifully written screenplay by Renjith Shankar. The situations in the plot was very realistic and convincing to the audience. Each characters possess their own identity and the characterization was wonderfully done by the director. The film has everything in it to keep the audience engaged. The depth in the screenplay and the intensity in its presentation is what makes this movie a beautiful one.

Kunchacko Boban had given one among his finest performances through this movie. He had completely become Raman and his body language as Raman was the key factor which made this character looked perfect. Anu Sithara once again showed that she is indeed a great promise for Malayalam Cinema with a beautiful and matured performance. Other artists like Aju Varghese, Joju George, Ramesh Pisharody, Sreejith Ravi, Muthumani, Uday Krishna etc also done their part very well.

The DOP of this flick was Madhu Neelakantan and he had provided some beautiful visuals for this film. Music from Bijipal was soothing to the ears and it created a great atmosphere to tell the plot as well. V Sajan edited the flick and his cuts were sharp and clean, which had made the film to flow in a medium pace.

In Total, Ramante Eden Thottam is a superb feel good entertainer which will give you the air of freshness inside the cinema hall. It is one of the best movie of Renjith Shankar who had given us some great films.
