Prayaga Martin, Gayathri Suresh, Jewel Mary etc played the female lead characters in this movie and it is a campus thriller set in the 19080’s in Kerala. Deepu S Nair and Sandeep Sadanandan had written this movie.
The plot of the movie revolves around the character played by Dhyan Sreenivasan and his character name in this movie is Zachariah Pothan. The film is a thriller which starts moving when a major murder case gets complex and doubts lead to Zachariah Pothen. It paves way for the re-opening of another popular case that happened long years back. We can’t discuss more about the plot here as it has suspense elements in it and may become a spoiler for the readers.
Sajith Jagadnandan had made an impressive debut as he had become successful in making a very good campus thriller. We had seen campus thrillers like Classmates, Seniors etc here in Mollywood before and Ore Mukham too falls in that category. Sajith had done a great job in presenting the plot without losing his grip over the proceedings. Because a slight slip up could have made the film too predictable. But he had handled that very well. The screenplay from Deepu and Sandeep was very good as they successfully incorporated elements like romance, humor, suspense, action etc into the basic plot and the choice of artists were also superb.
The performances from each and every artist was very good as everyone had given their best. Dhyan Sreenivasan had really improved as an actor and this character named Zachariah Pothan is a perfect example for that. If he improves his dialogue delivery style a bit more, then he will be one of the most dependable star here in future. Aju Varghese, once again stole the show with his expressions and dialogue delivery style. His character named Das was one of the best from him. Artists like Chemban Vinod, Deepak, Prayaga Martin, Gayathri Suresh, Jewel Mary, Abhirami, Arjun Nanda Kumar, Jubi Ninan etc also played their part well.Satheesh Kuruppu had cranked the camera for the film and he had done a great job with his visuals. Bijipal had tuned the music for the movie and he did a fine job too. Renjan Abraham edited the flick and he made the film to flow smoothly with his cuts.
In Total, Ore Mukham is a very good campus thriller which will never let you down as a viewer. It will entertain you till the very end and you will not be disappointed.
