Rakesh Roshan promises unseen action and VFX in Krrish 4
As the fourth installment of Bollywood’s indigenous superhero franchise, Krrish started its preliminary work; director-producer Rakesh Roshan promises nothing less than a mind blowing action and VFX fiesta. According to sources, the veteran director is in the final stages of the script development and plan to start rolling the project next year.“We will start shooting next year in April or May… or maybe in 2018. It’s a huge project. We need to work on VFX and that too in our budget. But it should be appealing enough for audiences,” says Roshan. “We will rope in an international action director for the film. We want to up the scale of action and VFX. Show something that is not done,” he added.
Reports suggest that the core idea of Krrish 4 triggered in his mind when Rakesh Roshan’s wife showed him a picture of Lord Ganesha with a face of Krrish. Anyhow, the makers are tight-lipped about the plot and other details of the movie. The first three installments in the Krrish franchise, Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish and Krrish 3, not only breathed fresh air into Hrithik’s career in Bollywood, but also reinvented the superhero legacy in Indian Cinema.Meanwhile, the Roshans are gearing up for an updated version of their prestigious Krrish brand, Hrithik and his father are all excited about their upcoming venture Kaabil. The movie, which is directed by Sanjay Gupta, features Hrithik as a blind man and depicts the tragic love story of a blind couple. Yami Gautham plays Hrithik’s blind partner in the movie, which will hit theaters on January 26, 2017.
