Actor Jayam Ravi, who was busy shooting for his upcoming action thriller Bogan, hurt himself during shooting, say reports. News surfaced on online platforms hint at an accident and minor injuries for the actor. But, the makers are yet to acknowledge the accident news and keep their mouth shut about Jayam Ravi’s injury.Bogan, which features Jayam Ravi, Hansika Motwani and Arvind Swamy in the lead roles, was in a rough patch from the beginning. Cinematographer-turned-director Antony has accused Bogan director Lakshman of plagiarism. In a statement, Antony accused that his story was leaked through one of his assistants and filed a complaint against Lakshman with the South Indian Film Writers Association.

Antony also claimed that the producer of Bogan has approached him to settle the row and offered Rs 10 lakh. But, director Lakshman brushed off the charges and accused Antony of playing greedy games for money. “Can he prove that his screenplay is similar to mine? I don’t understand on what basis he claims that Bogan is his story. His case didn’t stand in the court as he didn’t have enough proof,” Lakshman lashed out at Antony.

The movie brings together Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swami after the hit movie Thani Oruvan. The Arambam actress, Akshara Gowda will be seen in an important role in the film. While D Imman composes the music, Soundarajan cranks the camera. Bogan is produced by Prabhu Deva under his banner Prabhu Deva Productions. To make things peppier, Arvind Swamy makes his debut as a singer in the movie.
