Airtel is set to roll out V-fibre broadband services

Airtel has made an official statement that it will soon introduce V- fibre broadband services in 87 cities. The company will kick-start the service in Chennai and will extend it to other cities within a few weeks. Airtel claims that the new services will proffer the broadband speed of 100 Mbps. The biggest advantage of V-technology is that there is no need to make any serious modifications in the infrastructure. Airtel also provides the new customers with a free trial period of 3 months, which will help the customers to decide whether they want to use this broadband service or not. If the customer decides to cancel the service within the fixed period, the company will reimburse the customer for the modem charges.

Multiple signals are transported through the wire used for the internet connection data. This brings down the broadband speed and the quality of the signals. Airtel believes the vectorisation technology / V- Technology will reduce the unwanted interference .The hardware in the technology is enabled to keep the signal interferences to the bare minimum. This helps to ensure a high speed broadband service. The broadband speed of 100 Mbps is beneficial to the customers as their multiple devices will have considerable speed even if multiple devices are connected to the same network.

Airtel commented that the users are upgrading to 3G and 4G services and that the demands for high speed broadband services are increasing every single day. Therefore, the company believes that it is important for the company to cater to the increasing demands of the users. The company hopes to content the users with this improved broadband service.
