Some kitchen hacks for you to make your work easier

Dear women, and the men, here we are with some kitchen hacks that you should know to save yourself in kitchen.

If you fear that the milk is at the point of getting spoilt, add a pinch of baking soda to it and this way you can save your milk

  • Add a green chilly to the curd if it is curd is not being set.
  • To peel the skin of ginger easier, use the spoon instead of knife.
  • To stop onion-induced tears, freeze the onion before chopping.
  • In order to prevent ants from your kitchen and to disinfect the floor and slabs, add some turmeric powder and salt to the water you use for wiping the floor and slab.
  • Add a pinch of sugar while heating oil. It will give your veggies a rich look.
  • For keeping the bananas fresh for long, wrap the ends of bananas in a silver foil.
  • To make softer and nicer rotis knead the dough in whey (paneer) water.
  • To remove the smell of garlic from your hands, rub your hands in your stainless steel sink or against a stainless steel container.
  • Add some bay leaves and a bunch of dried curry leaves in rice and it will help to prevent rice moths.

  • If you want to ripen the bananas fast, wrap and keep it inside a plastic bag.
  • If you accidently put excess salt into your chicken curry, put some sliced potatoes to it as it will absorb excess of salt.
  • While kneading dough for chappathis, use warm water as it will help in making softer chappathis.
  • In order to keep potatoes fresh for a long time, store them with apples. Ethylene gas from apples prevent potatoes from sprouting.
